Western New England Prep School Girls Softball Association (WNEPSGSBA)
The Western New England Prep School Girls Softball Association (WNEPSGSBA) is a regional
athletic association for girls’ varsity softball teams at private preparatory schools in New England,
primarily located in Connecticut and western Massachusetts.

For more than 30 years, the association has provided one of the most organized and structured
competitive environments for prep school fastpitch softball in the region. The league operates with a
governing board, formal by-laws, an annual All-Star Game, and three postseason tournaments, all
designed to promote competitive softball among member schools.

Each season the league crowns three champions:
– Overall League Champion
– Class A Champion
– Class B Champion

Tournament Qualification
At the conclusion of the regular season:
– The top four teams based on Sailor Point Average qualify for the Overall League
Tournament.
– The next four eligible Class A teams qualify for the Class A Championship Tournament.
– The next four eligible Class B teams qualify for the Class B Championship Tournament.
Teams classified in Class B remain eligible for the Overall League Tournament if their Sailor Point
Average ranks among the top four teams in the league.
